Day 1: Siliguri to Gangtok

Your arrival at Siliguri makes you feel special by looking into the picturesque location near the Bagdogra airport or in the NJP railway station. Rent a car which takes approximately Rs 3,000 for Gangtok. It takes nearly four hours and 30 minutes to reach Gangtok from Siliguri. Day 2: Exploring Tsomgo and Baba Mandir

Wake up early before 6:30 AM and don’t forget to set the alarm. Take a bath with hot water and get ready for the excursion towards the famous Tsomgo Lake. Make sure if any of your family members are having breathing problems because Tsomgo Lake is located at the elevation of 12,313 ft above the sea level. Day 3: Enjoy Gangtok Local Sightseeing

You can start your expedition at around 9:00 AM and visit some of the famous local places like Tashi viewpoint, Ganesh and Hanuman Tok, Flower Exhibition Centre, Banjhakri Falls, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Enchey Monastery, and so on. Return back to the hotel and enjoy the nightlife at Gangtok with family or else take rest for the day and get ready for the next morning. 

Day 4: Gangtok to Darjeeling

It takes around four hours to reach Darjeeling from Gangtok. After you reach Darjeeling check in to the hotel and get refreshed. Try to make it early before 12:00 noon. Take a local car on rent for local sightseeing. Stay your tour by visiting Padmaja Naidu Himalaya Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Happy Valley Tea Estate, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self – Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Peace Pagoda and Rock Garden to make your Darjeeling trip special. Enjoy the evening at Chowrasta and walk around the local market. Sleep early to wake up around 3:30 AM for the next day.

Day 5: Visit Tiger Hill and Return to Siliguri

Start your day with the captivating sunrise view at Tiger Hill where you can witness the view of Mt. Kanchenjunga that turns into orange after the sunrise. Enjoy a cup of Darjeeling tea with your family and visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on the way back to Darjeeling. Enjoy your lunch and start return journey before 3 PM. You can reach Siliguri within two and a half hours by gathering all the beautiful memories of Sikkim and Darjeeling.
