The island of Andaman and Nicobar floats in the Bay of Bengal to the east of the Indian Mainland. The Island is about 1367 km from Chennai and around 1304 km from Kolkata.
The island is made up of a group of 572 deserted islands, islets and rocks. The forest cover is wonderful and rich in exotic flora and fauna.
